Project 3413

Embracing our present to better protect our future.

Our work and impact

Project 3413 (P3413) is a non-profit, apolitical and secular organization, consisting of bringing together young people who are motivated to take concrete actions in order to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and thus bring lasting change to the haitian community. We focus on 3 of the 17 UN SDGs, namely health (3), education (4) and climate action (13), hence the name Project 3413.

Our projects

Our main focuses are:

Health

Haiti is one of the countries with the worst health indicators in the world, which continue to hamper the development of the country. Over 40% of the population does not have access to health services.

Education

In Haiti, more than 200,000 children are out of school.
In 2003, the average age of children enrolled in 6th grade was 16, when they should not have been over 11 or 12.

Climate action

Weather conditions are changing, sea levels are rising, and weather is becoming more extreme.
Saving lives and livelihoods requires action to tackle the climate emergency.
